El famoso barco ingl\u00e9s con el que Darwin y Fitz Roy emprendieron uno de los viajes cient\u00edficos m\u00e1s importantes de la historia lo atraves\u00f3 dos veces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante estos viajes, la parada del HMS Beagle en este canal tuvo un significado importante: el contacto con los nativos de la isla, llamados Yamanas, fue el punto de partida de una historia que comienza con el secuestro de 4 nativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos fueron bautizados con nombres ingleses y llevados a Gran Breta\u00f1a para ser educados como seres civilizados.
