First a museum curator, then a writer
After several years working in the Lake Argentino area and focusing on ranch life, I developed a project to renovate a Patagonian museum in an old shearing shed.
There, I reconstructed the story of an English family that had to adapt to various historical contexts that, for better or worse, shaped Patagonia and its inhabitants.

THE BOOK OF PATAGONIA
German version of the play
Having been to Patagonia dozens of times, I never would have imagined the incredible stories that unfolded there, nor how crucial the events and the people who lived their lives in that region—facing an environment that was so hostile yet so magical—have been to Argentina’s development. The book contains information on geography, history, anecdotes, and objective accounts of events—almost like journalistic reports—that no one in Argentina who hasn’t lived in that region knows… Stories of immigrant families, ranching, indigenous peoples, mountaineering—if you’re truly interested in learning what Patagonia is made of, don’t hesitate to read this book.
